Solo Tip Tuesday: Get a Second Screen with the Air Display App

by Reba Nance on April 10, 2012

If you’ve never used two monitors, you’re missing out on a great productivity tool. After using two monitors for so many years, it would be very hard for me to go back to just one monitor.

One of the things I miss most when I travel is the ability to use a second monitor. Enter Air Display by Avatron Software, Inc. For $9.99 you can now use your iPad or iPhone as a second monitor. It works with both Macs and PCs, and the money is well worth it.

OK, I agree the iPhone screen is pretty small as a second monitor, but it works really well on an iPad.

If you don’t currently use a second monitor, be sure to check out next week’s tip, which will explain how you can easily and inexpensively set up two monitors in your own office.

You can see this tip and others, on topics ranging from Outlook and Word help to App reviews and online tools, all here.

Longtime readers of the Colorado Bar Association’s C-Brief, its weekly eNewsletter, know each week there is a tip from Law Practice Management Director Reba Nance. Those tips are moving beyond the newsletter and now have a permanent home within the Practice Management section of CBA’s website. We’ll share some of the best tips each week here as Solo Tip Tuesday.
