Solo Tip Tuesday: Find “Filler” Items to Score Free Shipping at Amazon

by Reba Nance on December 4, 2012

Many of us are shopping online during this holiday season. One of my favorite websites for online shopping is Amazon.com. I like it because it features honest reviews written by real people, allows users to view pictures of an item, peruse a book (read the table of contents, etc.), create a wish list, and much more. Plus, they offer free shipping for an order filled by Amazon that is $25 or more. Free is good!

But what if you’re $3.99 shy of a $25 order? Admit it—you’ve probably purchased an additional item for much more than $3.99 so that you may reach that $25 goal for free shipping. There’s help for reaching that minimum! Filler Item Finder and FillerSeek are two websites tied in with Amazon that will find an Amazon item for $3.99, or any amount that you need to reach your goal. Check out Makeuseof for a review of the Top 5 Amazon Filler Item Finders.

You can see this tip and others, on topics ranging from Outlook and Word help to App reviews and online tools, all here.
